Smoking Ember

Ember is a deeply curious creature who longs to see the best in everyone. While often completely unaware of the dangers of the world, she relies on Aegeiss, her brother by both blood and tradition, to keep her safe from harm. She is trusting of every person, animal, and thing she interacts with.

Ember would often listen to Aegeiss question the layers of faith that the clan was founded on. Though a devout follower of the Prophet Dicax, she couldn’t help but be intrigued by her brother’s questions regarding the Dicaxian beliefs.

A few years ago, a terrible event changed her life forever. Their entire clan was slaughtered by a massive, unknown creature, leaving Ember and Aegeiss as their only survivors. Through more unfortunate circumstances, Aegeiss was sentenced to become a Warden of the Maw. Unable to bear the thought of being separated from her brother, and despite Aegiess’s request that she stay with their new clan, she leaves in the dark of night to join Aegeiss at the Maw.

Up until the events of Lunar Eclipse, the two have spent the last several months training to serve and protect the citizens of the realm, preparing to face any enemies that may crawl up from the belly of the Maw. Although Ember is deeply afraid of what is to come, she knows that Aegeiss will always be there to protect her and keep her safe.
