Psy was born just outside of the northern border of Vita Nova. At age 7 she was taken hostage by an unknown kidnapper and was eventually dropped off at an orphanage. She spent years in the slums of Vita Nova under the rule of a corrupt housemaster. Her memories before being orphaned at age 7 are blurry but she does remember her loving mother Nardu-Wen and keeps a memento of her always.

After several peculiar interactions, Psy met the “overly curmudgeon-ed” Yorfry Ithrye, whom she has grown to respect and admire. The two years Psy and Yorfry have spent together on his homestead have been the most fulfilling in her life as she has never been accustomed to companionship. Working the land and listening to stories of his former life fill her heart with curiosity, wonder, and hope.

Psy’s desire for answers to her broken past is equal in intensity to her need to make her nation proud. She daily lives out her creed, Dominari Novis Terris. Psy’s immaturity can sometimes come off as blatant ignorance but she means well and has always been of an inquisitive nature.

The mysteries of her past have a strong bearing on her future resolve of one day becoming Elysium’s best sorcerer, and hopefully, finding herself in the process.
