Yorfyr Ithrye
Elf, 83, Elysium
Born to high ranking Aristocrats within Elysium Yorfyr desired more than the life of a noble could offer. He craved adventure, thrills, and the art of theatrics. At the age of 11, he crashed a secretive exchange of money between his father and another noble within Elysium. Tired of his nonsense, his parents shipped him to a boarding school, where Yorfyr continued his art of mischief and even roped in three other kids to his cause. Finally having enough of their rules he slipped through the school‘s security leading three other kids to the streets of Elysium.
For the next 40 years, Yorfyr became the leader of a large thieves guild, The Hallowed Hounds. He became a master of disguise, most members never encountered his real face and if they did they would never even know. After discovering a ring of Dixcaian children being sold for money by a filthy politician, the greatest thief Elysium had ever known started to dabble in ending political corruption for hire.
Yorfyr believed his duty was to take from those who had plenty and give it back to those who had little; even if it meant spilling blood. One night, Yorfyr fell to his pride and accidentally murdered an innocent young girl. Filled with grief it set him off to the southern woods of Elysium to live his days on a homestead until a stranger appeared.
A young orphan named Psy stumbled onto his property, setting off a reluctant friendship on Yorfyr’s behalf. Their friendship became more as Yorfyr began to view Psy as a daughter, somehow he had to protect her from falling down the path he had stumbled.
In an act of love, Yorfyr dawned his thieve’s cloak once again, for one last job, with the hopes of getting Psy into the Borealis Academy. Yet, the King of thieves fell to folly and was arrested, forcing him to join the Wardens and Troop 33.
