Ignatius Praedatio

Ignatius Praedatio (or Iggy as his twin sister Iffy calls him) is an uptight explosives expert with a criminal past. Many years ago, a job with Iffy went sideways – a slight miscalculation led to the premature detonation of one of his bombs, and he was left horribly maimed. While Iffy managed to escape, the extent of his injuries left Iggy unable to flee the scene. He was taken into custody and interrogated about a number of bombings he‘d been suspected of being involved with. Upon the recognition of his knack for creating improvised explosives, Hyperion conscripted him to do just that for them. As a further consequence of the accident, he suffers from intense PTSD and is incredibly uptight and a perfectionist to avoid further mishaps.

Up until the events of Lunar Eclipse, he spent all of his time either working at Hyperion making new types of explosives or in The Ocean experimenting further with new types of explosives in a risk-free environment. Of particular interest to Iggy is what he considers to be the ultimate explosive – the Bosonic Charge.
